Which engines is the BE-Fuelsaver® intended for?

According to the manufacturer, for diesel and petrol engines including cars, trucks, buses, tractors, motorcycles, motorboats, generators and other units. The appropriate model depends on engine type and power.

Does it interfere with vehicle electronics?

No. The BE-Fuelsaver® is described as a retrofit solution; the vehicle's mechanics and electronics are not modified.

When should the effect begin?

The manufacturer describes an immediate start after correct installation and optimum results after approximately six to eight refuellings.

How do I measure consumption reliably?

Measure before and after under conditions that are as similar as possible: same route, speed, load, tyres, weather and fuel quality. Use the actual quantity refuelled, not only the on-board computer.

What fuel and emission reductions are stated?

Published information states an engine-dependent fuel saving of 6–20% and measured pollutant reductions of 20–90%. These are manufacturer and document claims; individual results may vary.

What is important during installation?

The preferred installation is to attach the BE-Fuelsaver® to a suitable point on the fuel supply line using the cable ties supplied.

Is the product maintenance-free?

Yes. The manufacturer describes it as maintenance-free and states a ten-year functional warranty subject to the warranty conditions. The current shop also offers a 90-day satisfaction guarantee.

Can it compensate for an engine defect?

No. Technical faults, such as an engine burning oil, must first be repaired professionally.

Does the product use magnets?

What can I do if no effect is measurable?

Check the installation position and the measurement method. The preferred installation is on a suitable point of the fuel supply line using the cable ties supplied; seek professional advice if uncertain.

Can it improve an emissions inspection?

The old FAQ recommends six to eight refuellings in advance and requires a technically sound engine. The product does not replace repairs and cannot guarantee a specific inspection result.

Can it be used in performance-tuned vehicles?

The previous website often described use with performance tuning. With eco tuning alone, the effect could be smaller. No general result can be guaranteed.

How long has practical experience existed?

The old FAQ names a BMW Z3 from 2001 as the first test vehicle. According to the manufacturer, the BE-Fuelsaver® has been marketed since 2007.
